What is Brainfish in simple terms?

Brainfish is an AI self-service agent that delivers in-product assistance to your users both proactively and reactively, throughout the customer journey, outperforming both resource-heavy in-house builds and shallow AI bandaids.

How does Brainfish work?

Brainfish ingests your existing knowledge sources (help center, Notion, Drive, transcripts, support tickets) into a continuously updated knowledge layer, then surfaces grounded, cited answers wherever your users actually are: in-product, in Slack, in Teams, or in your CRM. Every answer is traceable back to a source article.

What is a user session?

A user session is a single conversation with Brainfish — anywhere from a one-shot query to a multi-turn back-and-forth. Sessions are bounded by 30 minutes of inactivity. The 5,000 monthly queries on Platform are user sessions.

How does this work from a data privacy perspective?

Brainfish is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001:2022 certified. Models are not trained on your data. Sensitive fields are obfuscated before any snapshot is taken; snapshots are processed and discarded by default. We host in US, EU, and AU regions and offer customer-managed encryption keys for enterprise.

Can I exceed this in EU region?

Yes. EU hosting is available on Platform and above with no quota differences from the US region. SLAs and support are identical. Data residency stays inside the EU; we don't egress to other regions for inference or storage.

Does this work with my existing content?

Yes. Brainfish ingests from Notion, Confluence, Google Drive, Loom, Zendesk, Salesforce Knowledge, Help Scout, Helpjuice, Mintlify, ReadMe, OpenAPI specs, websites, and any HTTP source via API. We also auto-detect content drift so your knowledge base stays current as your product ships.
