We've upgraded Brainfish Assist, our Chrome extension that brings AI-powered knowledge directly into your team's workflow, and introduced Slack Agents, giving you the flexibility to deploy channel-specific AI assistants tailored to each team's unique knowledge needs. We've also upgraded our Help Center Agent with conversational, agentic search that delivers faster, more accurate answers to your users. Beyond these flagship features, we've added Custom Attribute Personalisation for unprecedented control over how you tailor content to different user segments, and expanded Notion Sync to include individual pages. Together, these updates strengthen Brainfish as your AI Knowledge Layer—making complex product knowledge more accessible, contextual, and actionable across every touchpoint.

Brainfish Assist

We launched Brainfish Assist with a revamped side panel interface that gives support agents real-time intelligence inside every tab. Your team gets AI-powered answers directly within their workflow, persisting across tabs for seamless support. This includes internal knowledge use cases and covers email support.

Slack Agents

We introduced Slack Agents, a major upgrade to our Slack integration that enables channel-specific AI assistants with tailored knowledge sources. Unlike the previous one-size-fits-all approach, you can now create multiple Slack agents with unique configurations for different channels—allowing sales, support, and engineering teams to access contextually relevant information without knowledge leakage between teams.

Help Center Agent

We rolled out our Help Center Agent with agentic search, delivering conversational answers inline so users find what they need faster than ever. This update includes a new information architecture, support for custom instructions, CSS customization, and a new Sidebar UI option.

Custom Attribute Personalisation

We added Custom Attribute Personalisation, letting you use any custom user attribute for knowledge personalisation—not just those from specific integrations. This gives you complete flexibility in tailoring content to different user segments.

Custom attributes are identifiers that can be included in the widget so that you can see specific details about the user who is asking questions. For example, name, email, subscription tier, or any attribute that your systems send to Brainfish. These custom attributes allow you to understand more about your users and trends, and enable you to personalise responses specific to the identity of the person. For example, you can tailor specific responses to a user on your premium tier in New Zealand, which may have specific product functionality in that tier and region.

Notion Sync - Pages Support

We enabled Notion Sync to support Pages. Brainfish already supports retrieving information from Notion databases. Now you can also sync specific Notion pages to Brainfish, along with existing Confluence support.
